Nigella Lawson Books

Nigella Lawson is a popular, voluptuous celebrity chef with a flirtacious attitude towards cooking. There are always sexual references in all her tv shows which has led to Nigella Lawson being dubbed the “queen of food porn”

Nigella started work as a writer, reviewer and restaurant critic before she shot to fame in 1998 with her bestselling books “How to Eat” and her 2000 award winning book “How to be a domestic goddess”. Following Nigella’s success in being a culinary author, she then decided to launch her TV career with the channel 4 show, Nigella Bites. Alongside a successful tv career Nigella Lawson also has a highly lucrative cookware range called “living kitchen” valued at several million pounds.

Nigella Lawson is undoubtably a beneificiary of the “sex sells” marketing strategy where her flirtatious manner of presenting combined with her home cook background appeals to many middle class women in similar situations. Nigella has a very relaxed and unprecise approach to cooking which has made her somewhat of a trend setter.

Nigella is the daughter of ex conservative MP Nigel Lawson and the socialite Vanessa Salmon.
