Here are a few healthy eating games you can play at home with the children to get them interested in eating healthy foods.
Game 1. Get a wide selection of fruits and veg and play the guessing game. Give them a little treat for every fruit and veg they guess right by looking, tasting and feeling. This also a great way to get kids used to the taste and feels of foods so that they can start to understand flavours and how they could work together
Game 2. Make a mystery smoothie and try to guess the ingredients. Good things to hide in the smoothie is chilli, passion fruits, kiwi, pineapple, banana, blueberries and more.
Game 3 Into the wild – Go to a fruit picking farm and see if you can guess all the different foods – without cheating and looking at the signs!
